Yoga Healing Benefits

Balancing Mind & Body

Reduce Stress & Anxiety

Yoga employs the use of long, deep breathing techniques, mindfulness and relaxation. This helps to decrease the level of the stress hormone cortisol in the blood and promotes the development of mindfulness.

Strengthen The Immune System

The movements in Yoga help to increase circulation of blood and body fluids to the lymphatic system, which assists the function of the body’s immune system.

Improve Strength & flexibility

Regular practice of Yoga can reduce chronic inflammation, increase muscle strength and improve flexibility. These are all important for healing and prevention of diseases such as arthritis and osteoporosis.

Discover Your Flow

Yoga is an ancient practice, bringing together mind, body and spirit through a series of controlled movements and poses. The many benefits include improved flexibility, balance, mental clarity, reduced stress and supporting overall health.

I believe Yoga isn’t about being able to bend your body into a pretzel, but more about cultivating a deeper relationship with your true self through conscious breath and movement.

FAQ

Most Frequently Asked Questions And Answers

Yoga is a practice that you’ll benefit from the more you incorporate it into your lifestyle, but work out a schedule that works best for you. Even 1 hour a week will benefit you! Keep in mind that Yoga is not about quick results, but is more about making it part of your wellness routine and slowly building up on your technique and ability.

Yes! I love welcoming new students to the beautiful world of Yoga. All participants in the class are accommodated for, whether you’re a beginner and trying yoga for the first time or you practice it regularly. You’ll be guided and assisted at the level that best suits you.
